From the beginning in dialogue with BRS, this company was more than willing to listen and accommodate my requirements to renew 50% of the roof tiles to the original house in Aberdeen. The removal and the installation of the roof tiles was coordinated to my satisfaction with the supervisor on site. I could not fault any of the installation labour who were on site each day from start to finish (sometimes 10 men) same time every day. At the completion of installation I went round to review the work carried out and could not fault the quality of the installation. I would recommend using this company due to quality of installation.

Can't speak highly enough of the service. Our house is pretty old, Grade B listed, and the whole roof needed replacing in the original style and materials. The team did a fantastic job. Out in all weathers in February in Aberdeenshire to get it done ASAP is a commitment to the cause. Five out of five.

Although we initially thought that our house in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire would require a fairly minor repair, we ended up needing a completely new roof. After we'd got over the initial shock of this needing to be done, the team at Butler Roofing Services Ltd pulled out all the stops to get the job completed prior to Christmas 2025. They worked incredibly hard in limited daylight to get it finished to the appropriate standard, including two Saturdays and one Sunday. The team were unfailingly punctual and the communication before, during and after the work has been great. We did have one or two follow-up queries and these have been dealt with quickly and efficiently which was very reassuring. Following the work the weather has been pretty awful, so we're very grateful for a new watertight roof! Recommended!!

Absolutely Outstanding Service from Butlers Roofing! We had a couple of other quotes for a new roof, and every contractor told us it would be a very lengthy job, taking many, many weeks. With the costs and timescales we were given, we started to think it just wouldn’t be possible to get our home renovated. The idea of replacing the roof on our 145-year-old, 1880s period home—on Devanha Terrace, Aberdeen which still had its original roof—felt overwhelming. Then we found Butler’s Roofing, and they completely changed everything! From the very start, Bill and Jim provided fantastic service, using a quadcopter to survey our roof, showing us exactly what needed to be done, and taking precise measurements. Their efficiency and professionalism were second to none. The difference with Butler’s is that they did exactly what they said they would do—and they did it exceptionally well. Their dedicated team—Brent, Brendan, Jordan, and all the guys—worked tirelessly every single day, including weekends, no matter the weather. Rain, wind—it didn’t matter. They turned up punctually, worked non-stop, and got absolutely everything done. Because Butler’s also has its own scaffolding company, everything was taken care of, with no delays, no issues, and no waiting around for third parties. If there were any concerns, Bill or Jim were on-site straight away to reassure us immediately. In just four weeks, we had a brand-new roof covering every part of our home. It was a huge job, but Butler’s made it an amazing journey and experience rather than a stressful one. This was, hands down, the best service we have ever received. Had trouble finding roofers for months. Bill showed up soon after we called, took pictures of our roof using a drone and had a detailed roofing scan pdf sent over before end of day. They were able to fit us in within weeks, despite it being close to winter. The team worked fast, efficiently, and did an excellent job. Bill was extremely communicative at all times, letting us know of any issues when they came up and was always available when we tried to contact him. We were away for a week whilst they were working and Bill would send us daily updates and drone pictures of the progress. We had woodworm in our sarking boards, and so the costs were higher than we'd hoped, but they replaced them all at a reduced price and did a spray treatment free of charge. They also did some additional work without charge by replacing sections on the dormers and repairing a rotted truss. They accidentally broke a skylight window and let us know immediately and replaced it themselves. Absolutely happy to recommend them, and we're planning on having them repair our conservatory and front porch roof at a later date.
