Finding dry rot in your house is horrible, it makes the entire house feel compromised, and is a time of huge uncertainty and financial worry. What we wanted and got from the preservation company was great communication throughout, thorough assessment, and a clear guide to the work required and possible back up plans if the rot had spread further. The lead time on work was relatively short, and once work started it was completed to an exceptional quality and ahead of schedule, with the piece of mind that work is independently insurance backed for decades to come. I was made aware of the Preservation Company as a result of prior work they had done on a property that I bought recently. As part of the due diligence process on the damp / rot situation of the home, I was sent some reports detailing work done when the previous owners bought the home in 2020. I was very impressed with the clarity and thoroughness of the reports, so I got them back to deal with a new damp spot that was flagged up in the home report. The communication and booking process was seamless and Shaun who came to do the work itself was absolutely excellent. Everything was done efficiently, exactly as planned, and cleaned up to a very high standard. I will definitely use the Preservation Company again for future damp / rot work and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.
