Better late than never leaving this review. Honestly one of the worst shops I’ve ever been in. The guy who was there was clearly annoyed when I couldn't make my decision. Felt like he expected me to buy something straight away, but I like taking my time before deciding. Wouldn’t recommend it to anybody looking for decent customer service.
Had them out to do carpet in livingroom and bedroom through dundee city council for both rooms no underlay supplied fitted with spray glue, asked about having the same carpet which I was paying for and lino in the kitchen and bathroom quoted £470 rather expensive so agreed to have the carpet in the hallway at £140 again no underlay used. Bits of the carpet left everywhere (they don't clean there mess i was told) also noticed the cuts beside the skirtings were not done properly had to tidy them up myself. Got a quote elsewhere for herringbone half the price supplied and fitted. Won't use again and don't reccomend.
Friendly service from everyone I encountered. I had vinyl flooring fitted and the fitter paid great attention to detail, making sure the pattern was properly aligned within the space. Would definitely go back to The Floor Store in the future.
The Floor Store did an excellent job of reflooring two rooms in our house. In the shop, Niven provided all the information we needed to help us decide on the type of flooring, along with helpful advice. It was clear that he was focused on helping us to get the right thing for us, rather than on making a sale. George, the fitter, did his work to a very high standard, and did so cheerfully and answering all our questions.
Niven provided good information and advice at the showroom, and arrived at our house on time to measure up. A quote was soon provided and the final bill matched the quote - no hidden extras. Fitters arrived as promised and completed the job in just over 3 hours leaving the room clean and looking good. Friendly staff.
