🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I have been a landlord for almost 15 years, and I have never experienced such exceptional service from a complete stranger until I met Lynn at AGP. I had contacted numerous letting agents to manage my portfolio and was on the verge of giving up, until I happened to call Lynn after a simple Google search! (Luckiest day, !) From the very beginning, Lynn has been incredibly supportive. I don’t feel like I’ve simply found a letting agent; I feel like I’ve found a honest partner who truly cares about the business I’ve worked hard to build. Even more impressive is the genuine care she shows for the tenants. I could write at length about everything Lynn has done over the past four months, so I’ve highlighted just SOME of the key examples of the outstanding service provided by Lynn and Euan at AGP: 🌟 Viewed properties I was in the process of purchasing to ensure they met the required standards. When they didn’t, Lynn clearly identified the issues, sourced multiple quotes, and contacted the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with HMO regulations. 🌟 Contacted the council and relevant bodies on multiple occasions when we were placed in difficult positions by sellers. 🌟 Sourced an alternative property when a sale was close to collapsing. 🌟 After completion, assisted in identifying all faults within the flats within the five day reporting period, including detailed cost estimates and quotes. 🌟 Following a call with Euan on Thursday at 4pm regarding property faults, Euan was on-site by 10am Friday with trade professionals obtaining quotes. The turnaround was exceptional. 🌟 Once the sale was completed, Lynn personally contacted all tenants over the weekend (which I am extremely grateful for) to introduce herself as the managing agent. She also uses an excellent system that allows tenants to report issues instantly, ensuring a swift and seamless process. It is clear the tenants feel heard and valued. I purchased these properties with tenants in situ, previously managed by another agency in Dundee, and their feedback reflects this positive change. 🌟 On the occasions I have contacted the council myself, the consistent praise for Lynn from various staff members has been wonderful to hear. Whenever I mention that Lynn is my agent, I’m told, “You’re in very good hands.” This comes as no surprise, as I have experienced this level of professionalism firsthand. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Lynn and Euan at AGP. Owning and managing properties is not always easy, especially on challenging days, but having Lynn and Euan by your side makes all the difference. With AGP, you are not just a client, you are made to feel like family. Lynn did not need to do even half the things she did for me but she did from the kindness of her heart. That's who you will be doing business with. Someone who wants the best for you and looks out for the little guy when no one else will. Always doing the right thing for everyone. Thank you Lynn. I'd be lost without you! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Totally astonished at such a negative review. We were landlords from 2012 until last year and feel well qualified to speak about Angus Glen Properties and Lynn in particular over that period. We could not have wished for a better service and it is to Lynn's credit that while AGP managed two flats in the block Lynn took on communal issues on behalf of all owners/ tenants. The long running issue over the roof would not have been resolved without Lynn's persistence and engendering a " team spirit" which in the main allowed us all to move forward albeit with significant delay arising from circumstances outwith the control of the majority of owners. In terms of visibility and accountability I retain on record all correspondence from AGP over those 13 years and there is not one single thing where we were not fully consulted, perhaps in case of urgency by phone, to ensure our legal obligations to out tenants were fully met.
Hi everyone, As another owner in the block, I wanted to share a very supportive perspective on how this maintenance issue was handled. From what I’ve seen over the years, the managing agent has consistently acted in the best interests of the building and the owners, and this situation appears to be no different. Not every repair is straightforward, and sometimes the priority simply has to be getting the problem resolved quickly before it becomes more serious or more costly for all of us. In this case, I actually felt reassured that the agent went directly to a contractor who already understands the building and has a proven track record with us. Using a familiar contractor often means quicker diagnosis, less back‑and‑forth, and far fewer delays — which ultimately protects our properties and keeps costs down in the long run. While multiple quotes can be useful for large‑scale planned works, they aren’t always practical or necessary for reactive repairs, especially when time is a factor. I didn’t see anything to suggest that the pricing or process was out of the ordinary; if anything, it seemed like a logical and efficient approach to prevent the issue from escalating. I agree that communication can always be refined, but I personally have confidence that the agent followed appropriate procedures and made decisions with the building’s best interests at heart. From my viewpoint as a fellow owner, the way this was handled felt reasonable, proportionate, and in line with maintaining the block responsibly. Just sharing my own experience and trust in the process — I genuinely believe the focus was on protecting the building and avoiding unnecessary complications for all of us. Kind regards, Henry Leadingham
Angus Glenn Properties has been fantastic at managing my rental property, which is in the same building as the flat owned by someone who recently posted a very negative review (posted on 2 March). Lynn, the agency owner, has been incredibly forward leaning, even working in her own time on behalf of other owners in the building to resolve issues that are the responsibility of all owners and with no request for recompense from owners with whom she does not have a letting management contract. Unfortunately there has been reluctance in the past from some (mainly one owner) to act quickly and responsibly with regard to issues impacting all owners, such that the council were considering enforcement action. I do not believe the negative review to be in any way truthful.
When my wife and I first arrived in the UK four years ago, we had no prior experience of renting here and didn’t know anyone who could guide us. We met Euan during a property viewing, and he kindly suggested another property within his company that was perfectly suited to our needs. Since then, both Lynn and Euan have supported us throughout the last four years. Having heard many negative stories about property agents from others, we were pleasantly surprised, as our experience has been nothing but positive. Lynn and Euan have been professional, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly, they are always easy to communicate with something that is quite rare these days. Thank you, Lynn and Euan, for the amazing work you do and for providing us with a home over the last four years. We are truly grateful.
