⭐ Very disappointing and unprofessional service We booked this company for a home removal with full packing service before Christmas. From the beginning, it was difficult — they kept asking many questions for a quote, which we patiently answered, and we uploaded multiple photos and videos exactly as requested. Despite all this, on the moving day they did not turn up at all. Even worse, they did not answer phone calls or WhatsApp messages. No explanation, no apology, nothing. I have lived in the UK for 5 years and have moved 4 times with Anyvan without any issues. This time, I decided to try a local removal company, and it turned out to be a horrible experience. Not turning up on the agreed day and completely ignoring the customer is unacceptable, especially when moving house is already stressful. We had extensive WhatsApp discussions, and at no point was it made clear that this was not a confirmed booking. In fact, we received a confirmation email, which you are dismissing as “automated.” On the day, you chose a higher-paying job and admitted this in our chat. Shifting blame onto the customer and misrepresenting the situation is both misleading and unprofessional.
Liam and his team were excellent. Communication from start to finish was second to none. The team were all friendly and extremely careful with our belongings and both homes. The flexibility shown with storage and timings was perfect for our move. For info, we moved within the North East Fife area and we took advantage of Liam’s storage space for two days.
