I requested a repair for my washing machine. The engineer initially visited and diagnosed the issue as a power supply fault, stating that he would order the required part. Later, I was informed that the manufacturer had stopped supplying parts for my model. After doing my own research, I found part on hoover website and sent the engineer the website link. The part was subsequently ordered, but when the engineer returned, he advised that it did not fit. I was then told that Hoover had confirmed the required part was not available for my model. As I was not convinced, I booked an engineer directly through Hoover. The Hoover engineer visited and successfully repaired the washing machine over two visits by replacing the necessary parts. This experience was frustrating, as I was initially informed that the machine could not be repaired due to unavailable parts, yet Hoover was ultimately able to source the correct components and complete the repair.
Gave me a slot between 2 - 6 pm so I waited in 4 hours, it’s now an hour and a half after the end of this slot and has been no contact. Hastie more like time wastie Update he’s now threatened me over message Update again: he’s now saying him and his mates are going to come round if I don’t delete this review. Guy is clearly unhinged Update for the response: the number in the screen shot is the same number listed for the business.
Be cautious when calling this company, either through NAC or directly. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received for my cooker hood repair. The engineer, Alasdair, attended and stayed for barely a minute just to take a photo of the model number and charged £96. I was told that a replacement part had been ordered and that he would return to fix it. However, two days later, I was informed that the part was not available and that I would need to replace the entire unit instead. This should have been checked before his visit, especially as I had already explained that the PCB was burned and it was easy to share the model number over the phone. It feel as though the visit was carried out or planned simply to charge for a quick call-out of £96 , but it is a full day’s salary for me I later messaged him for advice on what exactly I needed to order, as I am not familiar with the cooker hoods, but I received no response. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this agency
Great service. Alasdair responded quickly to our call, and when parts were required he arranged them within a few days and had our machine back up and running! Great service and highly recommend to anyone looking
Once we had agreed when Alasdair would visit to fix my oven everything was very straightforward. He fixed my cooker quickly and effectively. I will use his appliance repair service again and highly recommend him.
