Superb service , 100 % recommend..
They told me they could fix a problem, I sent a full description and photos. They arrive and tell me they now couldn’t and still charged me for a callout fee. They said they needed speciality parts that no longer exist. In front of them I called the manufacturer and they sent the parts the next day. The parts arrived and they came back to install them, only told me it was impossible and the only thing to do was replace everything at 10 times the price - again they charged an extortionate call out fee. I found another company who installed everything that day cheaper than the actual callout fee of this company. I found them to be completely untrustworthy and unable to do the work.
Thorough, efficient and staff excellent. Recommended.
Various issues with appointments, communication, no shows and in follow up from something which happened from an an installation 11 months ago - just no reply.<br>Seemed like harder work than needs be and no response a couple of times - poor show having instructed a fair bit of work
We recently hired Harkin & Vickers (Keith Gunn Electrical) for an EICR check of our premises. Craig talked us through the issues he had identified and the team provided a comprehensive quote. Jules then actioned all these fixes. Both were prompt, efficient, friendly and very professional. Would not hesitate to use Harkin & Vickers again, highly recommend
Provided quote, was 300% more than the next most expensive quote for same thing. They did turn around a quote quickly and politely. The other companies were providing identical products and service. I wondered whether the extra 200% included plastering etc. but it did not. I appreciate people have to make money and I don't usually leave reviews for just quotes but this seems very steep. Encourage people to shop around on trusted trader schemes. If you do like donating extra money then this is the one to go for!
