Malcolm Duffin and his team (Sarah, Hayley and Iona) are a pleasure to work with. They organized and oversaw a recent complete renovation of our Georgian home in Edinburgh. They helped choose finishes that gave a nod to the history of the building, while adding all of the modern conveniences of a new build. Malcolm and his team also chose all of the furniture, carpets and curtains including several custom pieces. The results are beautiful and we could not be happier.

Malcolm took on the big job of totally refurbishing our fairly recently purchased large Victorian Villa. He is very passionate and enthusiastic about his interior design and refurbishment schemes and we are delighted with the finished article which has also been well complimented by many friends and guests. His enthusiasm is infectious and we very much enjoyed working with him on the project.

Malcolm and Sarah came on board with the refurbishment of our home after a fire. This was a really difficult time and they both worked with such professionalism and sensitivity to produce both design and specification for everything we had asked for. The designs were beautifully hand-drawn and gave us a vision of what could be possible in the spaces, including very personal touches to bring them back to life after such devastation. We discussed the proposals, decided on details and agreed on specific items and materials in such a relaxed way. It made the whole process so much easier, trusting that Malcolm and Sarah were on hand to speak with if needed. Quoted costs were always in-line with the quality that was delivered and we we always felt able to make our own decisions; no hard-sell here! Just good, honest advice that was invaluable. They handled the installation of the items we ordered from them with care and the tradespeople in their team worked to extremely high standards. They were working around other trades attending to the insurance company's refurbishment schedule and managed this seamlessly. We are so pleased with the results and are incredibly glad that we approached them to help us with this. I had never used a designer before, but I would recommend it to everyone now. I never knew what I was missing. Overall, The Duffin Design team could not come more highly recommended from us. They brought our home back to life and made it feel even more safe, cosy and stylish than it had been before.

Malcolm and his team have turned our house into a home. They project managed a full re-decoration, from new flooring, fireplaces, plasterwork and electrics to curtains, blinds, furniture and re-upholstery. They handled and co-ordinated all the various tradespeople and completed the work to their exacting (high) standards within a very definitive timescale and most importantly within budget! Malcolm's skill lies with understanding his clients' tastes and needs and planning for them individually, his team make the plans come to life. Thank you!
