We recently had solar panels installed by The Edinburgh Boiler Company, and the entire experience from start to finish was absolutely exceptional. From the initial survey carried out by Colin, who was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly helpful, through to the installation itself, every stage was handled to the highest standard. Gareth, Sam, Robert & Kieran were outstanding during the installation — hardworking, courteous, efficient, and clearly very skilled at what they do. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail were excellent throughout. A special mention must also go to Anna in the office administration team, who was exceptionally proactive, organised, and efficient. Communication was always prompt and clear, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It’s rare to come across a company where every single member of the team delivers such a consistently high level of customer service, professionalism, and care. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and would highly recommend The Edinburgh Boiler Company to anyone considering solar panel installation or related services. As part of our Net Zero Project, we contracted the Edinburgh Boiler Company to install air source heating at the Border Ice Rink in Kelso. They provided the best quote out of 4 companies, and were able to carry out the work within the tight constraints of our grant providers. The system included a Vaillant air source heating system and new radiators in the ground floor spaces, and a Daikin air-to -air source heating system in the large Club Room upstairs. The installation was quite complex requiring a long supply cable to be installed and major changes to the radiators and plumbing. However, the work was completed well within time and to budget, and the contractors were very helpful during the commissioning and handover. We were very pleased with the results and the new heating system has already made a difference in efficiency and energy savings.

I called up the Edinburgh boiler company along with another boiler company who was recommended. Both companies came out within a couple of days of calling, both around the same time. David from the Edinburgh boiler company was very thorough and explained what work would be carried out and what other work could be additional. He also explained what boiler was more beneficial for myself. The other company came into my house took a few photos and said yes we can do the job and never went into any detail what was needed. The estimates from both companies had a difference of about £600 for roughly the same boiler, the Edinburgh boiler company was the more expensive quote. But what sold it to me, was the professionalism of David from the Edinburgh boiler company. I called up the Edinburgh boiler company and said i wanted to go with their quote, as I found them more of a professional company. Everything was explained when they would come out to fit the boiler, when the joiner would be on site along with the electrician. Everything went to plan as discussed, I found all three tradesmen all very courteous and tidy with their work. I would strongly recommend if you're going to get a new boiler fitted or any of the Edinburgh boiler company products, look not further than the Edinburgh boiler company. Im more than happy with my purchase from them.

The Edinburgh Boiler company came out to install a new boiler, radiators and pipe work along with co2 alarm and smoke/heat detectors. They were here and away in 1 day, they managed to get the work sorted promptly and kept all areas clean and organised throughout. The guys communicated each step and walked through the new heating system at the end. Everyone was very friendly and did an excellent job throughout, can't thank them enough.

Solar panel and battery installation I would highly recommend The Edinburgh Boiler Company. I contacted 3 companies and had a different experience with each. Rick from the Edinburgh Boiler Company was very thorough and took his time to discuss all the finer details - and was more than happy to answer all our questions (I had a lot!). He arrived in an electric car (which was important to us) and most importantly he had first hand experience with his own solar panels on his own home. He understood our needs and wants and unlike the other 2 companies he did not fire a price at us straight away. Rick took our details and came back to us a few days later with a few options (and different prices) and designs based on our discussions. We were also provided with a very detailed list of costings. Ultimately we were really impressed with the interactions we’d had with Rick. We were even more impressed when the quote came in under our estimations. Installation was arranged around our availability - scaffolding was put in place the day before installation. On the day of installation the team arrived prompt and had the whole job complete by 4pm. They left no mess and provided a detailed overview of the system. All the staff I had interactions with were extremely friendly and I have to say that I definitely feel that the ‘customer’ is at the heart of this business.
