SPLINTR

Having seen Splintr’s work on social media I knew that I wanted to work with these guys to create a special space to practice in. It was a pleasure from start to finish. The whole team are super friendly, approachable and open to your ideas whilst putting their spin own things and offering design advice. We are so happy with the finish and quality of work that we would highly recommend and work with again in the future.

Working with the Splintr team to plan, design and build a vision into reality couldn’t have been more straightforward. From the first interactions, Splintr turned up when they said they would (a low bar, maybe, but remarkably difficult for a lot of tradespeople to accomplish) and approached every challenge with a “can do” attitude, never dismissing even the most unusual of requests or suggestions and going to great lengths to make them happen. The process always felt collaborative and never like they were pushing their own ideas or taking easy routes. On-site, they were hard-working, friendly and fun to be around. They oversaw the coordination of various trades and brought together the concept from start to finish, in the expected timeframe. Despite a busy schedule, they took the time to follow up after completion with any snagging or issues that cropped up. Two years on from the works being done, my restaurant is holding up beautifully and is complimented daily on how good it looks and the quality of the finish. I think a major advantage of working with Splintr versus a more anonymous shopfitter is that Splintr attach their name and their reputation to their work, meaning that a high-quality result is as much in their interests as it is in their clients’. The entire process of working with Splintr was an absolute joy! I loved the design phase of the project, and look back on our meetings envisioning how our bakery would take shape with fondness. We were luckily enough to work with Splintr to bring to life some ideas we had for our shop in Edinburgh's West End. The spot had some great natural features which we were eager to expose whilst implementing modern and striking touches. The guys were absolutely invested in our vision and passionate to make it work to the highest standard within the time frame and financial structure handed to them.
