We have had a very positive experience with Borthwick decorators. Marco measuring up and giving the quote, Daria in the office and Scott, Shaun,Fraser and Chris, the super decorating team. Everyone has been very friendly and professional. The quality of the work is exceptional. We are hoping to get more work done!

From initial contact regarding the quotation through to finishing touches, I had every confidence in Borthwick's, and this confidence was not misplaced. Our run down common stair needed lots of preparation before painting and the job has been completed to a very high standard. All of the decorators were polite and hard working. Many thanks! We approached David and his team with a very large exterior painting job, and they helped with options for type of paint and best approach. They booked it into the schedule, turned up when we expected and completed the work to a high standard and with no problems. Very good to do business with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

It has been an excellent restoration following a burst pipe causing extensive damage. The two tradesmen worked meticulously without interruption throughout the process. I would have no hesitation in recommending Borthwicks Edinburgh to provide the service which is required. It can be more expensive than others but I am more than happy to have absorbed that cost seeing the results they have achieved which has been to my complete satisfaction.

I very rarely write reviews but this company’s skills and workmanship was amazing.I had my kitchen cabinets painted. They look like new cabinets, flawless and you cannot see a single brush stroke. Kamil did the job in 3 days and worked incredibly hard, he is very talented and left things immaculate. He deserves a pay rise.

An excellent job, well managed and a pleasure to deal with , both back office and painters on site. Not cheap, in this trade you get what you pay for and thus recommended as good value.

I recently used Borthwick Decorators for work on my Georgian home in Edinburgh, and the results were outstanding. The craftsmanship was exceptional throughout, but the real highlight was the cornice — it turned out absolutely unbelievable, far better than I’d imagined. They brought the original detailing back to life with real skill and care.<br><br>There was a small issue at the start when one of the hallway colours wasn’t quite the shade we’d agreed on. I mentioned it to David, and he sorted it immediately. His quick action and no-nonsense approach completely put me at ease and showed how committed they are to getting things right.<br><br>Communication was consistently clear and reassuring, and I always felt well looked after from beginning to end.<br><br>I’m hugely satisfied with the overall result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Borthwick Decorators to anyone looking for top-quality work.
