I rented a property from Glenham for about a year and a half. During the tenancy, things were generally fine. The inventory checks (done by a third party) weren’t fully accurate, and I needed to provide my own move-in and move-out photos to clarify some discrepancies and have some unnecessary charges removed. The deposit refund process also required multiple follow-ups and calls, as communication and timelines weren’t very clear. Overall, my experience while renting was okay, but the move-out and deposit stage could have been handled more smoothly.

Having to flat hunt again after being with Glenham 3 years ago made me realize how good they were. If you OK a property after viewing it they ask for a holding deposit while they reference check, giving you the peace of mind that providing everything pans out, you got it. If it doesn’t you just get your money back. Others keep advertising and showing and you may get the property snatched from you by a quicker or better applicant but this way you actually have a fair chance. If they had anything that suited me I’d go back to them in a blink.

I have rented flats from four different letting agencies in Scotland over the past seven years, and I have never experienced service like Glenham's before. From the viewing and application process to handling the documents and moving in, everything was smooth and professional. What I value most is when people are normal, warm and genuinely approachable, and everyone I have interacted with at Glenham, especially in person, has been exactly that and so much more. Most importantly, the contact throughout my tenancy has been outstanding. Anything I report is handled very quickly, and inspection visits feel like a pleasure rather than a formal, nosy requirement. They genuinely want the tenant to have the best conditions possible. They listen to you, which matters a lot. I have had agencies where you reported something during inspections, but nothing was ever done about it. Here, they truly care. If I ever need to look for another flat, I will go straight to Glenham's website because I genuinely would not want to change to any other agency.
