They have fixed any issues we have had in a very timely and professional fashionand were very communicative over the smooth application and verification process. I recently moved into a new flat in Edinburgh and the experience couldn’t have been smoother. There was some mould found in some of the shutters however Francesca was very quick to get this sorted for us and it has already been cleaned and removed. The whole process was very easy with clear instructions on what was necessary and we picked up our keys with no problems. Francesca has been very helpful and quick to respond to any problems we have had in order to fix them.

We have just rented a property through Southside for the first time, and our experience has been excellent. Michael, our property manager, has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. He has a fantastic personality and has always been approachable, professional, and willing to help. He responds to our questions promptly and deals with any issues efficiently and effectively. His communication has been excellent, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We feel very fortunate to have Michael as our property manager and would highly recommend both him and Southside Property Management.

My first time using Southside as a tenant has been a very positive experience. The offer, acceptance and onboarding processes are done very efficiently and well communicated throughout. The requirements and expectations of tenants are laid out very clearly during the viewings process. Sophia has been a great property manager and is very attentive. She has been lovely to deal with and always responds quickly if I have any questions. Any issues in the property have been dealt with very efficiently without my needing to follow up with her.

Renting a new place can sometimes be stressful, but the team—and especially Katy Fitton—has made the process incredibly smooth and reassuring. - Lightning-Fast Communication: From day one, Katy has been exceptionally quick to reply to my emails, often responding within a few hours (and even getting back to me on a Saturday morning!). - Proactive Maintenance: When we moved in, we noticed a few minor issues, such as a mismatched bedroom key and a loose cupboard hinge. Katy immediately ordered replacement parts and dispatched a contractor. As we found a couple of other minor things during our self-inspection, she seamlessly added them to the existing work orders so everything could be handled at once. - Fair and Reassuring: Reporting pre-existing damage is always a bit nerve-wracking, but Katy was incredibly prompt in putting my mind at ease, confirming in writing that we would not face any deposit deductions for the wear and tear we found upon arrival. - Accommodating: They are very reasonable landlords to deal with. When I asked for permission to upgrade the flat to a smart meter, it was approved the very same morning with zero friction. They were also very understanding when I had a brief, 24-hour banking delay with a rent transfer. Overall, it is highly refreshing to rent through an agency that genuinely listens, acts quickly, and treats its tenants with fairness, transparency, and respect.
