Dampness and Rot carried out a post-purchase survey for us and identified some easy improvements we could make to our property as well as a more significant case of woodworm, which was not present in our single survey home report. They carried out the treatment for us, communicating promptly throughout and helped recover some of the cost from the surveyor. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly, and the work was carried out to a high standard.
Can't recommend Damp and Rot services enough. From first contact with Barbara to Kevin coming out for assessment and then treatment for rising damp in the living room wall, was all done quickly and smoothly. Kevin gave a detailed assessment and talked me through step by step how the treatment process works. Barbara was so friendly and in frequent communication along the way. Tradesmen were fantastic too! Kevin and his team carried out an extensive survey and subsequent damp proofing and woodworm treatments for a development property I had purchased. They turned up on the days they had scheduled the work (which is a rarity with many tradesmen) and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. The cost came in bang on the estimate and the affected areas looked fantastic after the work had been completed. I could not recommend this company highly enough.

We had ongoing issues with damp and weren’t sure where to start but this company made everything so much easier. They were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain exactly what was causing the problem. They recommended installing a PIV unit and gave us instructions on how to redo and insulate our walls properly to prevent damp in the future.
