Chris was absolutely great. Had a leak in my ceiling, he promptly traced it to a cold water tank. He was straight up the ladder, took videos, put us at ease with worries of wood rot. Had a great chat with him too, very nice guy.

After storm damage, I needed a new front door. That process uncovered an issue, I needed to investigate. I contacted Matheson Damp Services and booked an appointment. From my initial contact, with their administrator, I received an excellent service. The administrator, was extremely helpful, pleasant and able to give appropriate support and information, when needed. The agent, conducting the survey, arrived in god time and introduced himself. His manner throughout the survey was very pleasant and informative. He gave good advice and suggestions, where appropriate. His report/survey was e.mailed to me, the next day. Since having the survey done, they have been very helpful, about answering a few questions, I had, after having the report done. They deserve the 5 star rating, I have given them. They have the right people doing the right jobs.

Super happy with Matheson Damp services! They were quick to get a damp survey booked in for us, as they were initially full but got back to me once they had cancellations. Their pricing is competitive, quick survey and report. What stood out for me was when they missed out on checking a certain concern of the property, they were quick to apologise and re-survey the property the next day. Chris was very thorough in his survey, and Karen on the phone was always super helpful and responsive. Thank you!

Penetrating damp in 2 bedrooms was my issue. Overall, content with the completed work. Team showed up on time, worked cleanly and efficiently and communication was clear throughout, particularly when queries were raised on a couple of issues on reinstatement. Note that plastering reinstatement is only carried out on the part of the wall being worked on (this was pointed out by the company), but you might want to factor in the additional cost of plastering additional areas on a wall to ensure a smooth wall finish after repair work is completed and before redecorating. The last photo reflects this post-work redecoration.
