Seemed nice and professional until there was an issue. We have been left with dipping and squeaking flooring in our hall following the replacement of our front door. Happy to share footage with anyone that wants to see it.<br><br>Glasgow doors are taking absolutely no responsibility as it would be too much work to take the door out and put back in to fix the support which they removed.<br><br>Very poor service and also not a great experience today.<br><br>Stuart called Friday evening (yesterday) to say he would be in the area and asked if he could come at around 8pm. This was not suitable. He then turned up unexpectedly this morning to look at the issue. This was a problem as I’m undergoing chemo and can’t just be ready for folk dropping by. I had to speak to him in my pyjamas and without my wig etc, mortifying!<br><br>Stuart took offence at me using a swear word to describe the state of my floor, maybe he was genuinely offended or simply wanted to use it as an excuse to leave and not rectify his mistake. I believe it was the latter. Furthermore when I said he would not be getting a good review he said that he would not be blackmailed and literally stomped out of my house. I do not believe that describing and sharing substandard workmanship and poor attitude to customer care is blackmail…. Seemed a little bit like toys getting thrown out the pram.<br><br>A professional business would work with the customer to sort out any problems.<br><br>His attitude right from the start was very much, it’s not his problem!.<br><br>Further note, which may explain ‘the why’ as I see other people have had good experiences…..When the door was fitted it was to be a two man job but the chaps nephew didn’t turn up for work so did it himself. I think this will have contributed to the issue. Also, not major but he left without finishing the silicon, easily rectified but again, maybe not on his A GAME the day he fitted our door.

What a fantastic company a real family company. I have had all my internal doors installed and external fresh doors and a front door fitted.<br>They have the best showroom that we have seen.<br>The attention to detail and the cleaning up was outstanding, I’ve never had a job left clean like and they had an industrial hoover. No tradesman I’ve had before cleaned up like they did. Can't recommend this company enough. Stephen made us both feel at ease during measuring up, gave great advice and talked us through the full process. Stuart and Jade arrived bright and early to fit our doors. So cheerful and friendly. The full working area was protected and they both just got stuck in. Left the place clean and tidy and our doors are fantastic, even better than we'd hoped. Thanks to all at Glasgow Doors. A brilliant team.

Terrible company! Avoid. Really aggressive fitter.<br><br>A quote was given and a large deposit paid. I was told 4 to 6 weeks until job completed and noone contacted me. I had to contact the company to ask for an installment date after 6 weeks. Reply was another 2 weeks. During this time I received further texts from the company asking for more money which I had already paid.<br><br>A date was arranged for fitting, no time. Noone turned up on the date agreed.<br><br>After a phone call they said they would come the next day. They arrived, doors fitted to good standard then the fitter was very aggressive about being paid and would not leave the premises. Was so aggressive that I asked him to stand out side my house. Started getting really personal and called me an arsehole etc. I am a pregnant woman, in the house alone and felt really uncomfortable in my own house. After I made arrangements to pay the company, this took a total of 15 mins at most ,so no real inconvenience. He the aggressively asked me to provide him with proof. I told him to check his accounts department and vacate my premise.<br><br>I wanted to give a small business a turn, and will never use or ever recommend this company. I see others have had a similar customer service experience.
