This is the 3rd time I have used McDonald flooring, from start to finish the job was seamless. Katy and Sandra helped us come to the choice of the herringbone for our kitchen, it has opened up the whole area. The fitting was carried out by Daryl who happily worked round us, he left the kitchen spotless. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business to family and friends

I previously wrote a positive review for McDonald Flooring regarding the initial installation, but I am writing to provide a necessary update. While the ground floor fitting has lasted well and remains in good condition, my long-term experience with the top floor has been extremely disappointing.<br><br>The installation took place in April 2022, but several months later, the top floor developed persistent clicking and popping noises. McDonald Flooring blamed this on a 'sticky surface' left by the builder, but I feel this is something they should have been able to successfully manage and rectify when they came to replace the flooring in February 2024. Unfortunately, the issues resurfaced by the end of 2024, and despite their attempts to fix it and subsequent inspections, the problem has only worsened over time.<br><br>Communication has been inconsistent, and I have struggled to get a permanent resolution or reliable support after years of dealing with this. Because of this, I cannot recommend them at this point. I originally recommended them to two other families, and unfortunately, both are experiencing the exact same top-floor issues, which reinforces my concerns about their quality and consistency. The ongoing service and responsiveness have fallen far below expectations.

2nd time I have used McDonald Flooring to install Amtico Form. As before job was done professionally. Fitters turned up as planned and job was completed as expected. Very happy with the job and would have no problem in recommending MacDonald flooring. As It happened I had my first job done through a recommendation given to me by another satisfied client.

Can't recommend highly enough! Fantastic service from start to finish. All the team were really professional & helpful; from Tommy who came out to measure, Sandra in the shop to Cory the floor fitter. Quick lead time for fitting and was significantly cheaper than competitor's quotes for exactly the same product. We are delighted with our floors which were fitted with care & attention.
