AVOID JSL PLUMBING. Not only is their workmanship sub-standard, but their customer service behavior is downright shocking and aggressive. I hired them for an external drainage excavation job, and they left my front yard looking like a chaotic construction site for days without finishing the actual connection. When I politely asked why the work had stalled, the lead guy became incredibly defensive, raised his voice, and tried to intimidate me into paying the remaining balance before the inspection was even complete. They completely deny making mistakes, even when looking directly at their own uneven pipe layout. It is terrifying how quickly their attitude shifts from friendly to aggressive once they realize you won’t be bullied into paying for incomplete work. Utterly dishonest, lazy, and stressful to deal with. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else who respects their paying customers.

Required a replacement electric shower, the existing one having failed. On initially calling JSL, I was given sound advice as to the most appropriate shower for my home. Arranged an appointment (within three days) for installation, and Lily attended to carry out the work. Job done very efficiently, very tidily…and at a very acceptable price.<br><br>Highly impressed by the service, and have no hesitation in highly recommending JSL.<br><br>Update, 15 June 2026<br><br>Called JSL when our kitchen sink developed a blockage, causing it to overflow, and rendering our washing machine and dishwasher unusable due to the potential for flooding when they emptied. Jim attended and thoroughly checked out the setup, before power jetting the system, and clearing the blockage. I found Jim professional, patient, meticulous and personable. Did a really good job for a very acceptable price. I’m happy to repeat my recommendation of JSL Plumbing, and to state that I will call on Jim in the event that I need a plumber in future.

Blocked bathroom washbasin. No one wanted to know. Phoned Jim in morning & he arrived late afternoon. Sorted in minutes. Excellent service and very nice man. Happy to recommend.

I chose JSL based on the reviews here, it was a good decision, they were fantastic. They resolved roots intruding into my drains. Jim told me the price and what he would do in advance, he turned up on time, fixed the issue, kept me updated and charged the price he had quoted.

Got to say we are so impressed by the prompt and efficient service by this company and Lily who did a fantastic repair on our lavatory. Delighted with the work which required a fair bit just to get to the leak. All reinstated and you would hardly know. Tip top<br>Service👍
