We rented through this real estate agency and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Whenever we reported maintenance issues, they eventually got fixed, but it routinely took 2–3 weeks for someone to even come and look at the problem. In the meantime, we had to live with broken appliances, leaks, and other issues that should have been resolved quickly. 3 weeks to change the toilet flush mechanism or 2 months to change the blinds for the living room.<br><br>On top of that, they often took around a week just to reply to our emails. Their service is clearly focused only on saving money for the landlord, with zero regard for the tenant’s comfort or basic living conditions. Communication was poor and we constantly felt ignored and undervalued as tenants.<br><br>We strongly do not recommend this agency to anyone looking for a rental. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

When Chalmers Properties took over the flat we were renting it was a huge relief. We had previously had 2 other estate agents managing the property who did nothing, leaving things unfixed indefinitely. As soon as Chalmers Properties were involved, they contacted us regarding the things that needed fixing right away and arranged for them to be sorted quickly. The washing machine broke in the unit so they quickly rectified that. When the boiler went they arranged for it to be fixed and paid for plug in radiators and the extra electricity money we needed for our bill that month to run them. They were always quick to respond to our emails and were professional, polite and friendly during inspections.
