We recently purchased a home that was surveyed by Allied Surveyors Scotland. Unfortunately, the survey was significantly inaccurate.<br><br>The survey failed to identify critical issues like severely rotted gutters and significant roof damage (inspected only from the ground). Areas of damp were inconsistently scored with no explanation as to why.<br><br>When we raised concerns, David Donnachie was dismissive, unhelpful and patronising. He provided no clear explanations for the inaccuracies and offered no resolution. Despite several requests for specific information, this was blatantly ignored and no apology was ever given for our experience.<br><br>Avoid Allied Surveyors Scotland. If you're buying a home surveyed by this company, get a second opinion. If you're selling, consider other surveyors. Our experience was deeply disappointing and costly.
