I simply wanted a good set of solid gates in a colour that would match the garage door. I'm very pleased to say my expectations were exceeded in every way. This is a good company with good people running it. Don't hesitate.
I got this company to fabricate a set of new gates for our property (church conversion) and was impressed by the finished product and service from the fitters. So much so that we then asked them to make new railings for the low walls, (original ones removed for the ‘war effort’ back in the 1940’s) Again a first class job, and with all items ‘Galvanised’ AND ‘Powder coated’ they’re maintenance free and will last for decades! I visited the companies offices prior to completion of order and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a first class job. Colin Anderson
Excellent gates and excellent service... Metal Frame with Aluminium Infill Gates We were in desperate need of new gates for our driveway (the neighbours definitely seemed to think so anyway). Tried many different companies but had great difficulty even getting a proper quote and when I did the prices were ludicrous - the downside of living in Edinburgh I guess. Gates Scotland were great from the start sending an estimate very quickly, for review, before sending out an engineer for a full check and proper quote. Then quite simple to choose options and colours (we chose aluminium infill for longevity as our last wooden gates rotted) and get a final drawing of the final design for sign off. Takes a few weeks to manufacture obviously but then great team arrive to install - which they did very quickly and efficiently. Gates look amazing! Neighbours seem to agree and have asked for contact details to get Gates Scotland to do theirs too... Highly recommended
FANTASTIC service from start to finish. We visited the showroom / workshop to see the designs the chose what we wanted. The Surveyor the came to measure up and sent drawings and a detailed quote. Gate was built then installed. The guys who installed were superb. They made sure everything hung properly, that it would settle into position and that it was well protected when it opened. We couldn’t have been happier.
