My wife and I (Australian and Dutch nationalities) moved to Spain recently for work and because of the very tight rental market, we decided to buy an apartment. Miquel was introduced to us by our relocation agent as we explored the possibility of obtaining a mortgage. As foreigners, we did not hold much hope of qualifying for a mortgage. In our initial free introductory call, Miquel was very good at explaining the process to us, did an initial assessment of our sitiuation and offered his advice, without pushing us one way or the other and always leaving the decision in our hands on how to proceed. We really appreciated his very thorough and patient approach, and always willing to answer any question no matter how minor or irrelevant. Once we made the decision to proceed with the mortgage, he came back to us very quickly with an excellent mortgage offer with a major bank. He negotiated very favourable terms for us, which is especially important given our status as non-residents at the time. Miquel was very good at always following up with us, ensuring that we understood the terms of the loan, we are commiting to, and facilitated the whole application process on our behalf. He was even able to join us at the deed signing (see photo attached), which we highly appreciate!<br><br>Miquel's guidance and facilitation through this entire process was especially critical for us, not only because of the language barrier and our unfamiliarity with the Spanish system, but also because we were trying to arrange a mortgage while being out of the country and much of the necessary documentation that we have are foreign and required to be assessed differently. Miquel also has a strong relationship with the banks - I get a sense that they really trust his judgement so the clients that he represents will get a much quicker and smoother evaluation. Overall, we are more than satisfied with the excellent service Miquel has provided us. The small fee that he charges is minuscule compared to the peace of mind and the savings you will ultimately receive from his service. Without a doubt, he has contributed to a most excellent start to our lives in Madrid. I highly recommend Miquel and FINANCED!
