Really nice area in Madrid city
It is between two highways without access and some works are being done there, so it is totally disconnected from anything else, not worth the trouble.
Great venue for sports and a great outdoor pool which is now open for summer. Main challenge is to get there without a car!
Its was my 2nd time in Puerta de Hierro swimming pool, one was of mid July and second was early August. Though had same experience with 2 visits, I can say that August is better because the people are lesser than of July where it was very crowded. Not too many umbrellas too so it is advisable to come early to choose a nice spot for some shade when the sun is very hot. You have to purchase the ticket on the app.
