Absolutely unacceptable experience, avoid Scala Properties I strongly advise anyone considering renting through Scala Properties to think twice. Our experience was extremely disappointing, stressful, and unacceptable from the moment we moved in. The apartment we rented was advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but one of the rooms did not meet Madrid’s housing requirements to legally be considered a bedroom. We also paid a fee to Scala Properties with the expectation that they would ensure the apartment was in proper, livable condition before our arrival. Unfortunately, that was not the reality. When we arrived, the apartment was not in a condition that anyone should be expected to live in. We found black and yellow mold growing in the shower, a strong sewage smell throughout the bathroom, feces left in the toilet, and an overwhelming level of dampness and mildew throughout the apartment. There were also bugs present in the bed, which appeared to be associated with the mold and moisture conditions in the apartment. The air quality was so poor that we struggled to breathe comfortably while inside the property. On top of that, there were multiple other issues: the washing machine did not work properly and caused water to rise into the shower, the sink had a leaking pipe that damaged the inside of the drawers, and the refrigerator stopped working twice, making it unreliable for storing food. When we contacted Scala Properties and requested to terminate the contract due to these conditions, instead of taking responsibility and helping resolve the situation, they advised us not to contact the landlord directly because they claimed it would not lead anywhere. After repeatedly reaching out and waiting for updates, they eventually offered a solution that required us to pay for another month despite the fact that we had already moved out and returned the keys. Once we did not accept their proposal, their communication became extremely poor, and they stopped providing the support we had paid for. A company that charges a service fee should be helping tenants navigate serious housing issues, not making an already difficult situation more stressful. We have extensive documentation, including messages, photos, and evidence of the apartment’s condition. This experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer support. If you are looking for a reliable property company, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Renting a home is already stressful enough, and you should not have to fight the very company that was supposed to help you.

Andres, súper profesional, rápido y efectivo. Nos ha solucionado 2 alquileres muy distintos en un tiempo récord, gestionando todo de forma impecable y con mucha seriedad. Nos ha mantenido informados en todo momento. Muy contentos con su trabajo.

Desde hace ya varios años confío en SCALA y en Miguel personalmente para alquilar mi ático en el barrio de Salamanca. Hasta ahora todas las experiencias han sido muy satisfactorias. Se ocupa de todo, con gran profesionalidad, dedicación y mucha flexibilidad. Así como tiempo record para encontrar el mejor de los inquilinos . Por tanto seguiré confiando a ellos mi piso. Nos atendió Nacho al inicio y luego Andrés, quien se mantuvo a cargo de todas las gestiones y desde el primer momento hasta el final fué muy amable y muy atento en todo detalle. Nos sentimos bien acompañados desde la visita al piso, la firma del contrato y hasta después de eso ha querido asegurarse de que todo siguiera estupendo. Una gran paciencia y don de gentes.
