Murprotec Damp Treatment

I contacted Murprotec to find a solution to a rising damp problem in my home. I had been told by a local builder that there was no solution and that I should install a false plasterboard wall with damp proofing, basically to hide the problem. However, Alberto Gil, the Technical Architect from Murprotec, told me Murprotec had the solution. During Alberto's visit, he explained in clear detail the method, spent time doing a complete analysis and provided a quotation. I have found the price too expensive for my budget, but I cannot fault the attention of Albert Gill in any way. I'm sure this product would solve the problem, as it offers a 30-year guarantee. Like the other customers who have expressed their satisfaction, we are very happy with the service, professionalism, and product knowledge that Alberto demonstrated, but we would like to know if it is effective. We only see expressions of gratitude for the service and subsequent installation, although I haven't been able to determine if the system is truly effective. They installed the machine for me for 5,000 euros, and in less than a year the same problem has returned, even worse. No warranty, nothing. I'm left penniless and losing all my belongings while I wait, and they don't fix anything, just keep giving me the runaround. At the diagnosis stage only and awaiting the next phase which is the engineer's visit (September) and the treatment of the damp wall (approx November)- however I wanted to express my gratitude to Javier Maestre Fernandez who diagnosed the type of damp affecting my external wall. He was very thorough, professional and took his time to carefully and diligently explain the technical issue to me in layman's terms with the aid of a powerpoint presentation and photos. He was friendly, polite and very reassuring. I am hoping the rest of the process will be as successful. Thank you Javier!

Finally, we have the right solution for the humidity issue we have. In one consultation he discovered what 6 builders (and greatly varying quotes) completely missed. I'm so glad I found this company, because the options given by other builders could never have worked now we know the real reason we have damp!
