I hired Climamix for a centralized air conditioning installation on the upper floor of a terraced house. Honestly, I'm very happy with the work they've done, from providing solutions to my problem of how to install the pipes, to the very last task. They spared no expense in carrying out the work (pipes, ducts, dismantling, masonry, etc.). I estimate that up to five workers came through. It took a week. Every day, as they left, they swept and mopped. On the last day, which was particularly dusty, they even brought a vacuum cleaner. In short, we're truly very pleased.
A serious and reliable company. From the lady who answers the phone (Silvia) to the salesperson, Miguel, and the assemblers, Rafael and Gabriel. The work was done with care and was very interesting despite its complexity. Highly recommended. Thank you.
The air conditioning installation seemed to be quite good. The plumbing installation was mind-boggling, with the connections of the affected elements to the corresponding drains not properly made. The polyethylene pipe clamped to the outlets with a cable tie is a no-brainer (if there's a leak and a short circuit, that's guaranteed). Plumbing installations should never be run above electrical installations. The bricklayer who covered the drainpipes left the entire floor uncleaned, covered in plaster flakes (very careless). I hope they'll keep this in mind for future installations. Best regards.
I contacted Climamix to install a 3x1 AC unit I had purchased. Once I accepted the quote, which was in line with what I'd requested from other companies, the work was completed very quickly. The installers were very friendly and careful to stick to the exact locations I wanted the units installed, while also finding the most efficient way to make the connections. Everything was installed and working in one day, except for a duct elbow that they installed the following day because they didn't have it on hand. The only thing I would point out as something that could be improved is the cleanliness, as there were some installation debris left in the house, as well as a few stains on the walls. Also, the finish on the walls wasn't perfectly smooth when they applied filler to cover the holes they had drilled, but it wasn't a major issue. In short, I would recommend this company for the installation of any AC unit.
After I posted this review, they called me to say I was right and that they would paint over the damage. I told them I would be out of Seville from August 8th to 20th and that it would be done the week of August 21st. Well, to this day I haven't heard anything... I'm sure I'll hear from them this week. I contracted the air conditioning installation and I have no complaints about it. The reason for the lower rating is because they advised me to install three return air vents in the bedrooms, which I agreed to after accepting the quote they gave me. The person who came to do the work in the first bedroom had to drill two holes, plus a third one that was supposed to be the correct one. The thing is, he patched up the holes, but then told us we had to paint over what he had patched up. It was a trial-and-error job without him being sure where to drill the holes. He noted it on the corresponding report and took it with him for documentation. I demanded a solution to the painting issue, and they're hiding behind the fact that the estimate states, "Terms and conditions: THIS ESTIMATE DOES NOT INCLUDE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION, DRAINAGE CONNECTION, PAINTING, MASONRY, OR ANY WORK NOT EXPRESSLY INDICATED HEREIN. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HIDDEN DEFECTS OR FAULTS IN THE EXISTING INSTALLATION." I didn't hire them to paint anything; I only asked them to install the return lines and do a proper job. If they make a mistake drilling the holes, it should be left as it was, not like this botched job, leaving me to figure out how to paint it myself. I've attached photos of the finished result. I don't recommend them.
