I'm not giving a lower rating because there isn't one. The bank I was dealing with for the mortgage commissioned the appraisal from this company. The appraiser (Jorge) went to see the property and, after chatting for a while with the real estate agent he knew from previous visits, decided (based on a comment) to include as a condition that the house was occupied by the owners' daughter, who stayed there on weekends to prevent squatters. Obviously, with this condition, the bank couldn't grant the mortgage. I called Gloval to try to resolve the situation, schedule a new visit to change the condition, which wasn't true, and they told me I had to get a new appraisal (one week after the one I already had) and pay again the amount I had already paid. They said the condition couldn't be changed, even though it was false, as other companies have confirmed. So, if you don't want to waste your time and money, don't work with this company. Update as of March 4, 2026. On February 9, 2026, the operations manager called me to clarify what had happened. He told me I would receive a refund. Seeing that I hadn't heard anything, I called him on February 25, 2026, and he told me to send him a WhatsApp message, which he still hasn't replied to. When I left the review, everything was very cordial as they tried to clarify the situation, but they still haven't resolved it. They've once again demonstrated their lack of professionalism.

They gathered all the property details, avoiding the omissions common among real estate agencies and API valuations. A group of 18-year-olds partying are more decisive than this gang of useless and unprofessional people. The appraiser, José Manuel Granado Calle, is a disgrace. He takes 22 days for an appraisal. If you want to receive the report on time and if you want good customer service, NEVER HIRE these indecent people.
