We recently purchased an apartment in Valencia and are so glad we had the team at TLA to advise us. Navigating the unfamiliar legal procedures was made vastly easier due to their knowledge and skill. Special thanks to Eva and Johana, who each caught errors made by others, including being asked to sign locked documents and the wrong name appearing on the title transfer documents. The whole process would have been a confusing mess without their assistance. Trust me, you will not regret having TLA represent you.

TLA heeft ons vanaf het begin heel goed geholpen. Veel van de regels en wat nodig is mbt het kopen van een huis hebben zij ons goed in begeleid. De afhandeling en ook alles wat nodig was op het moment van tekenen bij de Notaris heeft Eva, Jens en het hele team correct gedaan. Wij zijn zeer blij met ze.

Warning: Watch out for hidden costs. They tried to sell me a €290 consultation and then suddenly introduced mandatory extra paid services right before the contract signature. Not transparent and felt like a bait-and-switch. Plenty of other lawyers in Valencia who are upfront about their pricing—I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Enorm goed geholpen door het team van TLA bij de aankoop van een appartement in Valencia. Ze reageren altijd enorm snel en werken super profesioneel. Extra credits naar Eva, die me van begin tot eind erg goed heeft geholpen met alles en altijd klaarstond om te helpen en vragen te beantwoorden! Zeker een aanrader :)

Spare yourself, DO NOT HIRE THESE LAWYERS!! I hired TLA Lawyers to handle the purchase of a piso in Valencia. I’d found a lovely apt at the right price, great location, ideal size, and completely renovated — it was PERFECT, not an easy task in this market! The seller required that the arras contract be signed in exactly 10 days, non-negotiable. He was a bit of a bully, totally inflexible, which understandably irritated my legal team TLA Lawyers. But I was not going to let any of that derail me from buying my dream piso. We were scheduled to sign arras on a Friday. There were several back & forths in the arras contract draft that day between seller & lawyers. Then, at 2:30pm, I received a panicked call from the realtor, informing me that TLA Lawyers had closed their offices at 14:00 WITHOUT COMPLETING THE CONTRACT. They did not reply to my calls, WAs or emails, and there was no previous warning of early closing. They just took off for the weekend, leaving the business un-finished. As a result I lost the apartment, the €3,000 I’d paid the lawyers, plus the €2,000 reservation fee. All my Valencia dreams, plus €5,000 down the toilet, just because I hired the wrong law firm. Don’t make the same mistake I made!<br><br>That’s not even the end of it, it gets worse. Three months later I was planning another scouting trip to Valencia, I stupidly reached out to TLA and asked them to represent me again. They replied sure … and oh, by the way, you owe us €847.00 for a power of attorney we’d signed. €847 for a PoA!!! I reviewed all their correspondence, there was no price quote of a PoA—let alone for the outrageous amount of €847.00!! The new lawyer I’ve since retained charged me €60.00 for a power of attorney. €60 vs €847!! Disgusting.<br><br>I am being advised to sue TLA Lawyers, and I am considering it. TLA Lawyers: please return the €3,000 you unethically took from me!!<br><br>TLA’S RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW<br>TLA’s response to this review is full of lies. They say they were going to charge me €847 for a simple PoA because “the client doesn’t speak Spanish”. In fact, el castellano es mi primer idioma! I am fully fluent in Spanish, in fact ALL the communications between the TLA lawyers & me were conducted in Spanish. No translations required, this was plain highway robbery.<br><br>And as for their claim that there were other factors … sure, there always are. But what killed my deal plain & simple was their disappearance for the weekend mid-transaction, with no previous warning. I have the emails & ample evidence to prove that I made it abundantly clear that morning that I was ready & excited to proceed with ARRAS signing … and they chose to ignore my request and start their weekend instead. I cannot in good conscience recommend this law firm. YOU WOULD LIKELY REGRET HIRING THEM TOO.

Goede en professionele begeleiding bij het volledige aankoopproces van ons nieuwbouw appartement. Eva en haar collega's hebben er voor gezorgd dat het proces snel is verlopen en er is altijd duidelijk gecommuniceerd. Daarnaast hebben zij ook alle stappen goed toegelicht zodat wij wisten waar we aan toe waren. Heel fijn!

Heel tevreden met TLA. Ze hebben ons begeleid met aanschaf appartement. Ze zorgden dat alle documenten in orde waren. Deels ging via machtiging. En zelfs de water en elektra aansluiting geregeld. En dat alles met Nederlands sprekende medewerkers. Dank Eva en ook Jens
