David was fantastic! To elaborate on what made him, and this experience so fantastic, here are some of the key items I appreciated most:<br><br>- He was quick to deliver our survey report. We received the report in just over a week after our initial payment.<br>- The pricing for the report was very reasonable. We got quotes from several other surveyors and chose David for the balance of price and quality.<br>- He is incredibly detailed/thorough. Our report was 29 pages where he took many photos to illustrate his findings and provided building/structural context. He was clear with the scoring system that he used, what was part of the scope for the survey, and provided historical background on why certain decisions were made in building the house and how it may affect us in the future.<br>- He provided helpful recommendations; not just for our current situation, but also long term considerations like what items have been maintained and what items might need replacing in the next 1-10 years. Where things needed to be addressed, he provided clear recommendations on how and when to take those steps. He provided insights into what the greatest potential threats were to the house and how to mitigate those concerns.<br>- He was able to accommodate having a report in English<br>- Each report he builds is bespoke to the property (technically we had two houses in our survey with different characteristics)<br><br>I have absolutely no constructive feedback on the entire experience and look forward to working with him again on other projects for our home given his expertise in architecture.
