Immersive Human Survival Experience If you're looking for a gym to train your muscles and, incidentally, hone your negotiation skills, this is the place for you. Yesterday, the gym was so packed that for a moment I thought I'd stepped into a Black Friday simulator… but without the discounts and with more sweat. The highlight was the machine area: people asking for "the B?" as if they were at the butcher's waiting for a nice squat steak. All that was missing was the number dispenser and the butcher announcing: "Customer 87 can proceed to the bench press!" And the weights? Well, thanks. They were conspicuously absent. Adding plates to a machine was as impossible a mission as finding parking downtown on a Saturday afternoon. At one point, three people were negotiating shared custody of a 5 kg plate. I think they'll end up in court. In short: if you want cardio, you'll find it trying to chase down an available machine; if you want strength, you'll get it by testing your patience. The gym is 10/10 for experiencing intense emotions... but for training, that's another story.
