We were helped by Christian the store manager, patient, competent and friendly. Good store where you could feel and see the materials.
Totally okay kitchen exhibitions, there are different solutions for different types of kitchens.
I went to all the kitchen companies in the city and Kvik clearly had the best customer service, it made me want to buy a kitchen!
Quality kitchens at very good prices and with an exclusive feel and authenticity
I contacted Kvik (Berzeliigatan 14, Gothenburg City) this summer and booked an appointment as my husband and I were interested in a quote for a custom-made wardrobe. Once there, we were greeted by a salesperson, a nice girl overall. Designing and drawing our dream wardrobe on the computer was no problem, but then when we got to the quote such as costs for delivery, assembly, etc., it was a completely different story. That they are expensive is one thing, but we couldn't even get a total cost for the entire package, just for materials and delivery, which alone would end up at just over 18,000 SEK. The salesperson didn't even know what the assembly would cost. She started by saying it might cost 10,000 SEK, or 15,000 or 20,000 "but no, 20,000 SEK sounds unreasonable," she says. Believe it! When I asked why she couldn't give a clear answer, she replied that they invest more in kitchens where you get a total price for all the interior, delivery, assembly, etc. but that wardrobes are more something you can do yourself. The construction guys are under the same owner but she still had no idea (or maybe didn't want to say) what they would charge to assemble our wardrobe. It's not uncommon for people to want to buy a service where assembly will take place since we're not all carpenters/craftsmen. Assembling a DVD/CD shelf is one thing but a PAX wardrobe is not as obvious as everyone can do. The overall picture of KVIK well there at our first meeting with them was a bit of a disappointment to say the least. I thought it was a bit frivolous and an indication of a lack of competence. A month later we went to Ikea where we received within 5 minutes the cost of delivery, assembly and a drawing of the dimensions, interior, materials etc of the wardrobe we wanted for a MUCH cheaper price, just over 14,000 SEK for ALL this and the wardrobe was stunning with spotlights and the whole kit! We will never visit KVIK again, I can only say.
