When I started thinking about which broker to choose, the choice was very easy as soon as I met Pedram. Pedram stood out from the other brokers from large brokerage firms because I experienced the others as stressed, impersonal and messy. I have lived here for 7 years in three different apartments and on each occasion I have used the same broker but there has always been an emptiness during and after the deal. Much like the grocery store, nothing personal “in buy and out”. That was the case this time too, I chose the same broker who on paper is one of those who sells a lot on Eriksberg. But after about three months with several viewings and a few embarrassing offers I had enough. I often take walks along Eriksbergskajen and when I almost reach the temple of the winds I am met by the sign “Realize your housing dream”. Within a week everything was ready and signed, he managed to take photos of the apartment, hold a viewing and most importantly of all – sell it within just a few days. The remarkable thing was that he set the starting price 200,000 SEK higher than the previous broker and after a single negotiation the price landed at 300,000 SEK (10%) above the starting price. This was a clear example of how much of a difference a broker can make in this difficult market. The property was the same and the world situation unchanged, only the styling was changed by myself.
