A long waiting time was advertised but in the end the servicing of my hand built valve amp was done in just a week, at a fair price and it sounds heavenly. We are so lucky to have these skilled technicians in the city

Definitely not recommended!!! My home theater receiver started to malfunction. I first contacted an authorized workshop in V. Frölunda who replied that it could be a matter of the power stage or the power supply part. I didn't want to drive 600 km back and forth. At Vatansever I first received information that it could be difficult to repair and that troubleshooting would cost 950 SEK. Then I came to leave the receiver - then I met a wordless guy who shook his head and muttered "if you really want us to take it". Another arrogant guy chased me out where I was standing and took another customer, talked loudly to him and drowned me out. After about 2 weeks, an unknown person at the workshop sent me a text message saying that there was something wrong with the power stage and that it would take 2 days to try to repair it, after which there was no guarantee that it would work. Only then did I realize that an hour's job costs 950 SEK. Picked up the receiver, met a nonchalant English speaking guy who was all over the place and said he knew nothing. If you don't have the experience and knowledge to fix a receiver, you should say so from the start. I'm not sure if they even troubleshooted it.

I’m sorry to say my experience here was not good. I brought in my old quad 33/303 for a checkup, it was working fine, just had a bit of noise when it switching on or off. Also my thorens turntable which was missing the headshell lever, and had a loose thread on the anti skating mechanism. Apparently he spent 3 hrs, couldn’t fix the hiss, didn’t fix the headshell, he did glue the thread back on, and says he changed a capacitor. 475SEK for spare parts (a capacitor??) and 2850SEK for labour - Amazed to have been charged 3300SEK and it’s basically the same as when I brought it in. I see he gets great reviews on here but I have had a lot of experience with this kind of thing and I’m amazed that he charged me so much when so little was done.
