After a long drive from England to Sweden in our campervan, my wife and I wanted a gym workout and have a nice shower. Through Google we came across Leader Fitness Gym in Malmö. The gym is located in a residential area with plenty of parking on the side of the road. It is paid parking though, but not very expensive. We were greeted at the gym by a kind man who showed us everything we needed for our workout. The cost for a 1 off gym session is 90 SEK, which is very reasonable in my opinion. The gym itself is pleasant with everything you need for a good workout. The machines do look quite old, but everything was in working order. The changing and shower facilities were fine as well. Everything is slightly outdated, but functional. The shower had good water pressure, and did the job just fine. Don’t expect a gym with brand new equipment and spotless changing rooms. Leader Gym is a functional gym that has everything you require for a pleasant workout. My wife and I enjoyed our gym session, and we will be back when we drive through Malmö again.
I was attacked and the staff did nothing. Not safe for LGBTQIA+ Edit: That woman and I were never in the same room. She specifically came to me to cause a problem while I was minding my own business working out.
Music 10/10, equipment 10/10 staff 10/10 and atmosphere 10/10!!! Authentic unlike chain gyms. Will be second home outside of London gyms!!
I like this gym, good for guys who like to work out! 90 SEK daily pass
I have gone through many gyms in my life and I can say this place is decent. The amount of equipment is more than enough, several treadmills, steps and cycles and much more for heavy lifting. The area is quite spacious, might be a bit crowded in the evening. Dumbbells are rather old, so maybe they can be updated. The prices are also great the more you sign up for the less is the price. The only downside is the lockers you have to buy your own lock, maybe it's a Swedish thing, but in the gyms I was before you are given a key.
