We have just had a staff exchange in our association with the staff exchange group. It has been very difficult to get hold of them. It has been very messy. They were only supposed to be in the bathroom but when we came home one day in the meantime they had drilled hair into the wall in the kitchen, there was construction dust everywhere, even in the kitchen and living room which was pre-plastered. We did not get everything we had paid extra for. We also had to chase them to fix the wall in the kitchen which they had putty and painted over which looked like a child had done it. You also get very short notice, such as when they are going to change the locks you are told 4 days in advance and are expected to be home five jobs to sit and wait for them to come sometime between 08-12. The end result was good in the end
Just want to say thank you to Zand, Ertugrul, Project Managers and all experts craftsmen and workers for the bathroom they delivered to us and the entire communication we have had over the course of our stambyte! This is part of a truly gianormous project in our association (like around 2 years if i am not mistaken) and I can only speak for our bathroom quality and the process so far (for example we have no idea yet how will the actual total project costs exceed the initial budgeting and how this will affect us all owners). But I do know for sure that we are really happy with the final result of both of our bathrooms, even with the many customisations that we asked for (that rationally many people might fear if they deviate from the 'standard' bathroom). Some points to note: They have been fast to reply, polite and prompt to make changes we identified. We do firmly believe it is a project you need to supervise yourself too if you want details to be done correctly. So it's not a 'leave and forget it' project in our opinion. But the team has been incredibly good at communication with us and prompt to make adjustments we caught on time and overall very accommodating. My advice is: be as clear and specific as possible on the things that are important to you in the first rounds of feedback on the specifications document. They print this and put it inside the flat. Also if something is super important and specific, make sure you are on top of it. They have a trillion things to cater to; It's good if you are on top of it too to highlight points very particular to your preferences and goods you ordered. This seemed extremely stressful before getting into it (like everything from how will our chosen tiles and items arrive to what grout to put in between tiles and how the floor plates will be cut to look nice) but Zand and Ertugrul were so on top of things that it eased our anxiety right away. There have definitely been issues we have overheard in our association like some leaks, mold in basement etc but to be totally fair to them this is a huge project, dealing with extremely old, rusty, complicated infrastructure and worth saying we came from a very problematic situation prior to stambyte (leaks etc). I consider them constraints of the project and all that matters is their good can-do attitude and tight supervision to fix them as and when they appear, as they will most certainly do in a project of such big proportions. They also held some very informative communal meetings before the start of the project and handed over very detailed information booklets, along with mass notifications when things were happening. The handover of our building happened 10 days later than expected, which to me is a very standard, normal, very acceptable 'delay' for such a big project (and nothing like major delays i have heard from friends going through stambyte). I am writing this so that you make arrangements of a rental or travel for example with reasonable margin. Finally, they also left the apartment in a very neat condition. I have heard horror stories from other stambytes of how dusty and dirty it becomes but in our case it was really not a big deal. We have wrapped everything ourselves in plastic wrap but they still sealed the doors well. Even when they had to step into our covered area (eg: the living room I presume to access the balcony), they cleaned well after them. We were very positively surprised and we much appreciated this among many other things. We were very meticulous with wrapping but they also left the flat in a condition that was very manageable to move in. Overall we are very satisfied and I really want to praise them all for their hard work. It is far from a straightforward job and I think they did great on our flat!
Brf Harpalten chose to hire the Stambytengruppen for the family exchange. I feel very grateful for that choice! We ordered a renovation of our apartment where the bathroom area was expanded, a guest toilet was added and the kitchen was moved. Incidentally, I decided on this during the Count's time after having wavered back and forth about the offer. At that time it was actually "too late" but thanks to Ertugrul, they managed to arrange for us to proceed with the renovation. Ertugrul deserves great praise for his ability to handle all questions, requests, changes and corrections. I think few would have been so accommodating! In addition, I really felt a genuine commitment where they were keen that we would be satisfied, while at the same time being careful not to promise anything that could not be fulfilled. This resulted in the renovation being exactly as we had planned - down to the centimeter... Once production started, the contact with Tomas was permeated with the same nice attitude and willingness to accommodate our wishes. I would also like to express a big thank you to all the craftsmen who made this possible! Even though the Stambytetgruppen reserved that the renovation would take significantly longer in our apartment due to the renovation (which was a big undertaking in addition to the stambytet), they were finished much earlier than promised. I can only give my warmest recommendations; thank you for making this possible, we are so satisfied! 🙏
We have gone through stambyte in 2024 spring at BRF Harpaltan 1. Through the stambyte and after they have been very helpfull. As I dont speak swedish well, I was so happy to get help also in my own language 🙏 There was only minor errors in the bathroom ( I was on holiday half of the time, was not present) which they have spotted and corrected. Reliable, friendly, helpful, able team of professionals. 👍🏽 Thank you 🙏
Very professional, polite and hard working team. Our bathroom is now top notch. If you want everything correctly done - use Stambytesgruppen.
