HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We hired Therese and Nono for our newly purchased archipelago plot -- an unrenovated 90s house on an approximately 2500 m² overgrown plot without structure or much heat. Our biggest wish was that a new design would take advantage of the nature that exists, without, for example, large trees disappearing, and mix the wild with structure, rather than becoming a perfectly landscaped villa garden. We consulted with several designers, but it was only with Therese that we immediately felt that she understood our wishes and planned accordingly. So the choice was easy. In addition to being incredibly talented and creative, Therese was extremely responsive (and very patient) throughout the entire process. She presented new proposals continuously and asked questions where necessary, so that she constantly worked according to our wishes. She also welcomed my thoughts and suggestions that I shared as I came up with them. I guess as a customer you can choose to be more or less involved in the process, but we were very grateful that we were heard in every little thought. They also went above and beyond what you could have expected -- in addition to the garden design itself, they gave suggestions for the structure of the house facade and house color (a request from us, which we also understood was outside their actual assignment) and even suggested the placement of furnishings in the dining room to optimize the flow to the garden. One of our biggest questions was how we could place furniture in the best position throughout the day, which is not obvious on a plot with so many height differences and trees. They then did a solar analysis to find the best position for breakfast, lunch and evening sun, which we are incredibly grateful for. The result was far beyond what we could have even imagined -- a little oasis in the archipelago. We are super eager to get started, both with the house facade and the garden. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants a well-thought-out and beautiful plot, especially if you have a more complex one and wishes that require a little extra creative ideas!

We hired Hjelte Garden Design for garden planning. They started by asking very good questions to get an idea of ​​what was important to us, how much we wanted to work on the garden in the future, etc. They sent very good proposals and renderings that made it more real for both us and the contractors who would build, which has made the process easier. Hjelte Garden Design has produced beautiful, practical and functional proposals and the collaboration has worked great. I really recommend this company.
