A DISASTROUS & Terrible EXPERIENCE with Trygg-Hansa As a customer of SEB, my bank helped arranged Trygg-Hansa called me to offer their home and child insurance to me. 3rd Oct. 1st phone call comes, short talk of basic situation, then I got quote for home insurance, but not child insurance. Some day later, another person called, had more discussion, and then quote for home and child insurances. 21 Oct. I said no the the quote because of price. And after more discussion I got 5% extra discount on top of regular discount as SEB customer. With all, the offer I got on phone is home: 5364 sek/year, child: 2960 sek/year. 22ed Oct. I decided to take it and log in website to pay. But then I notice the price on website is much higher, with house is 5684 sek/year, child 3798 sek / year Then i sent e-mail back to Trygg Hansa and the salesperson to ask why, no reply 24th Oct. I called customer service; someone told me he will leave message to the salesperson to call me. No call comes 27 Oct. morning, i called customer service again, the 2nd person told me that she leave message and I should get phone call, no call 27 Oct. lunch, I 3rd time called customer service, the 3rd person promises to talk to the person or his boss, to call me. But no call. 27 Oct. 17:00, I called 4th time, the 4th person said she talked to the salesperson f2f and he will call me back after talking to his manager. Even though I said it is OK if the salesperson offered me wrong low price by phone, just tell me. But no call. 29 Oct. I called 5th and last time, the 5th person said all the same. And also refused that I could talk to manager level to ask an explanation 30 Oct. I call and cancelled the insurance offer at website. I appreciate the help from my bank during this, and the person who answers my phone call and tried to help. I don’t understand why the sales person or his manager can reach out to me anyhow, just a explanation. I have no trust on Tryyg-Hansa after this.
We used to have all our insurances with Trygg Hansa. One day I had a puncture on the highway with one of our cars. I called TH and they ordered a tow truck to my location and gave me the name and address to a tire shop nearby. At the shop I ask about their cooperation with TH they tell me that they have no agreement with them. Strange, I thought, but I'll call TH customer service and ask. I speak to a completely different person than the first one and he said no problem, just pay for the tires and send us the receipt and we'll reimburse you for the cost minus deductible. Odd, but at least I now have two people at TH telling me to use this shop. All recorded. I get home, scan the receipt and send to them. Soon thereafter my claim is denied on the basis that the tire shop that they themselves recommended I go to don't have any agreement with them. Annoyed but confident that I'm right considering that their own customer service told me to go to this specific shop and do it this way on recorded calls I argue with them and am finally connected to someone they referred to as someone responsible for complaints. Finally someone who can help, I thought, but this was one of the dumbest calls I've ever experienced in my life. The person confirmed what I had been told, apologized but claimed that it was somehow still my fault for going to the wrong shop, even if their own staff told me to go there and even if the cost was approved by someone at TH over the phone, all recorded. I asked if it was worth losing a customer who just last year alone paid over seven times more in premiums than what this claim was worth and he stood firm. I canceled everything I had with them and changed insurance company.
This has been the worst insurance experience I've ever had. From handling claims to the inability to get support while outside Sweden or the EU, everything has been a struggle. I can't access my account or even make a call when I'm abroad. Absolutely useless
I live in a high-rise apartment. After my neighbor's apartment caught on fire, the corridors stank of smoke and so did most of the flats about the one that caught fire. My jackets which cost a lot of money, stank so much I couldn't get the smell out after watching them. And after back and forth sending information to the insurance, they sent me 200 kr. I immediately changed Insurance company.
One of the worst insurance companies. Even though the monthly fee you pay is very high (compared to other companies), in the end, they will do anything for you not to get a claim. I filled out their form to end the contract, only to find out after a week that they decided to auto-renew my subscription for one more year. I had to call their service and wait 20 minutes in line, and after 2 minutes of talk the line dropped, and I had to wait for another 10 minutes to reach out to them again. I advise anyone to be careful with this company and take into consideration every detail before choosing it
