Svea Solar

Svea Solar suddenly stopped operating in Spain without notifying their customers, who had installation warranties. I found out they had left because I sent them an email to add a Backup Box to my solar plant, and they automatically replied that they no longer operated in Spain and recommended that I hire a company to provide me with support and maintenance. I installed the solar plant and electric car charger with them. Both still under supposed installation warranty... Terrible. This could happen at any of their headquarters in other countries. Be careful about hiring them...

I would not recommend SveaSolar. They are very active and pushing to get their installation done but when you contact them for anything they never answer. They promised steering applications that where 1,5 years too late. Any kind of customer support you can forget. I have been chasing them for months on different arrons and still am. Worst service ever.

The Swedish mother company shut down their Spanish subsidiary, leaving their clients without warranty or service backup. Additionally, in our case, they submitted a wrong document for the subsidy application, which we have now lost. Admittedly, the installation was good, but the customer support in general was absolutely lousy! So, if you live in a country where they have subsidiaries, like Italy, Belgium, be cautious when hiring them. You may just be left alone without notice, like us in Spain!

Overall extremely happy with the quality of the panel and the inverter. The team setting up the equipment was very professional. The panels look great and the solar edge inverter is probably the best there is. My only suggestion: I just wish they had pulled the electric cables under the outside wood panelling instead of on top of it. If you have panels installed, go over this with the electrician beforehand. I have been pleasantly surprised by how much electricity our setup produces.

Very pleasant contact with svea solar. I didn´t feel pressed to make a decision if I wanted their offer or not. This company is very customer minded and patient. All my questions were answered properly. With installation of the panels a few roof tiles broke which were replaced during installation. From seller to installation guy´s everybody was very friendly, professional and helpful. Price wise I would say they are below average from the offers I received. 1 week before installation I was informed the panels I ordered were out of stock. I received a small upgrade to other panels from 295 to 300 watt panels x38 without extra cost.
