I wanted to buy plywood. Talked to the person in "kassa" if someone could cut it, and the person told me that they will come to cut it. I wait 17 minutes. Went back there and the person told me that they will not come to cut it because they are too busy. Empathy in the best expression.
A place with horrible music, both in the shop and specially in the bathroom. Why the hell you don't let people be calm with their own thoughts instead of playing music everywhere? I will not come back because of that. Unpleasant experience
I appreciate this store for meeting so many of my needs, though the service is remarkably bad. Staff on the stoorfloor doesn't have a proactive service attitude, and when I ask for help, they have on multiple occasions tried to continue their day without helping me. On one occasion, a staff member got so angry with me that he took out his life frustrations on me (I told him his service attitude was bad), and he walked away shouting "I so love working here" with an angry voice. This has happened enough times that I will make the qualified guess that the staff has received very strict instructions to not offer help in edge cases like mine to protect the company from liability for any damage caused. It seems like a store in which management and staff are on bad terms with each other. They have a lot of great stuff, but for a hobbyist like myself who am hoping to learn things by asking the staff, this store has no such service on offer. In summary: Excellent range of products, lackluster service.
Staff with low knowledge and desire to help, they spend time chatting to each other but when you ask a question they are not interested. When asked for electrical advice I was answered I am not an electrician to every question I asked, which was code for I couldn’t care less!
A pretty lazy and careless staff is dragging this good place down. Most members of the staff avoid talking and helping the customers. "I'm really busy, can't help you right now", is too often heard from the staff as they walk away from the customers, who are asking for help. Where do they go? Who knows! Few of them (the younger ones) are actually very arrogant. I visited this outlet 6 or 7 times during the past 2 weeks as I'm repairing my place in Uppsala, but only twice got help. I also see how other customers get frustrated with the staff and leave. Something for the management to take seriously and to deal with.
