Hi ! House inspection I just want to give some feedback on the visit. Julia Carlbom Västerås visited us on 3/3 She made a very good impression, competent, accurate and a good communicator. She is a very good representative of Anticimex. Regards Carina Lund Kvartärvägen 10 Västerås
Anticimex inspected our bathroom in 2018. Anticimex assessed the bathroom as spotless, whereupon we moved in. We moved out of the same apartment in 2021. An inspector was hired by the buyer, and we of course felt very safe. Imagine our surprise when the inspector gave serious remarks/incipient damage to the same bathroom, and that the insurance would probably not cover any damage since it was an obvious fault. "Eh, so the bathroom has not been built correctly?" "No." "But Anticimex was here in 2018, look at the report here..." "Haha, what it says there is not true. An inspector can see that just by looking into the room that the pipes have been laid incorrectly." The buyer disappeared without a trace. The price of the apartment plummeted. Of course, we contacted Anticimex. They then told us that there is an inspection clause, where they disclaim all liability regarding. incorrect inspection if more than 2 years have passed. If we had known that it was not issued correctly, we would of course have complained about it earlier, but we made the mistake of trusting them. So: If you use an inspector from Anticimex, remember to inspect the inspector's inspection. You can't expect any form of compensation or goodwill when the company has made an obvious mistake. That's probably the worst. It's the most expensive inspection we've ever done in our lives. EDIT: In response to Anticimex's comment, I have of course already contacted you both locally and centrally. EDIT2: As Anticimex is now responding, they don't even look into the matter. Instead of acknowledging an obviously totally useless inspection, there is a disclaimer clause. So; if you hire Anticimex, inspect their inspection. Within two years, not three.
Booked an appointment for inspection twice and they haven't shown up either time. Always calls an hour later and blames the order being lost. Set aside two days to wait for them, we'll see if they show up this third time.
Really a complete waste of money when it comes to properties before sale. If you ask, you miss a leak in the roof that results in see-through raw sheet metal and large black spots. When asked about this to Anticimex, this happened a week after the property was inspected. When you point out that it takes significantly longer than 1 week for the sheet metal to become rotten and black, it is word for word. You also miss a lot of other things, but instead of having the attitude that this should be solved, you blame yourself and look for loopholes and squirm. A completely unserious player in a very dubious market.
