Very disappointed with Max Hjertqvist and the overall experience with MÄM Homes. During the buying process, Max was extremely convincing and kept assuring us that everything was fine with the property and that we should not worry. We trusted his words and commitments. But the moment the deal was signed, his behavior completely changed. When we later discovered multiple problems in the house and contacted him for support, instead of helping, taking responsibility, or even trying to guide us properly, we were simply told to “contact the law.” That response alone shows how little accountability exists once the commission is secured. The entire experience felt very misleading. A broker should act professionally and transparently, not disappear after the paperwork is completed. We genuinely feel that important concerns were minimized just to close the sale quickly. Be extremely careful when dealing with verbal promises from this broker. Do not trust assurances unless every single detail is documented in writing and independently verified. Once the contract is signed, do not expect support, follow-up, or responsibility. This has been one of the most stressful and frustrating housing experiences we have faced in Sweden. I would strongly advise future buyers to be cautious and do very thorough inspections before trusting anything said during the sales process.
