OffiTec Heating and Cooling

We had AC installed in three rooms in our house, 2 on the middle floor and one unit on the top floor, with a single external unit on the balcony. Overall the result is very good and the units are functioning well (and quietly!). The initial installation appointment was a bit chaotic because the technician (from a separate company) did not seem to know what was being done and consequently did not come prepared (e.g. no tall ladder, no drill to go through concrete walls), and it took some time after explaining what was in the contract to agree on how the installation would be done - e.g. to connect the units in the downstairs rooms to the external unit on the balcony. This had not been agreed in our initial consultation with Offitec, so i was assuming that there was a standard way to do all of this. The technician was able to arrange for a company to drill the necessary holes the next day, and put in the two units on the middle floor. Although the appointment was for 2 consecutive days, the technician said they were only there for the first day and did not know who was coming the next day. After a few calls and messages to the Offitec team who apologised for the issues, we were able to set up a second appointment 2 weeks later where the installation would be completed. That went very well and the technician did an excellent job - working till late to make sure all was set up and working correctly. So overall, 4 stars, and the one deducted is because i think there are opportunities to improve the pre-work and planning so that things go as smooth as possible.
