Yesterday, I was yelled at and threatened on the street by a property management employee. I've never experienced such arrogant, condescending, and disrespectful behavior. This woman is completely unfit for the job. I've been a tenant for over three years, and she asked if I was even "legally" living there, saying she would "check" it. A complaint to the property management company was useless; I received the same arrogant response from the same person. It's simply unbelievable that the employees aren't capable of communicating rationally but resort to shouting at people in public. Absolutely unacceptable.
I can't understand the negative reviews here! I've been with Immobilien Basel-Stadt for over 15 years and I haven't had a single bad experience. Only the building maintenance isn't always perfect, but that's not Immobilien Basel-Stadt's fault. It's an external company, and depending on the selection, they're not always the best. Otherwise, everything always works out perfectly 👍

Worst experience in my life with a real estate here in Basel. n September we sent out the house interest form, for which we received a call the following day to forward them our Pay slips and Betreibungsauszug ( debt enforcement extract). After 1 month we called and were told that we still had to wait for an answer and that as soon as a decision was maid, we would be informed and all our documents would be sent back to us. Another month goes by and we call them back to receive the news that the apartment is already been rented to someone else. I asked if we could get back our document and the answer was: "yeah sure" ( no interest in the fact that this was not already done before), I asked if she could let me know when it would be done, by callback and the answer was : "yeah sure2 and then she hanged up without even asking my phone number. I am sorry but this is definitely not GOOD customer service. we gave our resignation 2.5 months ago and were waiting for even just a reply and NOTHING, now we have less than 1 month to find a new home, and in the current situation with the Pandemic, not easy. WILL NOT SUGGEST THIS AGENCY TO ANYONE, and what is more sad is that it is a state agency...
