The work was good quality, but they doubled the price quoted verbally without any prior warning, leaving you with a surprise when you open the invoice. Always ask for a written and signed quote. It's a shame; with some companies, you never have this kind of problem, even for large amounts. Edit following the owner's response: I contacted them to dispute the overcharge, but you wouldn't listen. So I chose to pay the full amount without further action, knowing that you have salaries to pay, suppliers, etc. However, for subsequent locksmith work, I used one of your competitors and had no such problems.
