I can't comment on the agency itself or the service for buyers, but as a tenant in a building where Homequest acts as an intermediary, I can say with certainty that the person I had the misfortune of dealing with is someone to avoid. They speak to people inappropriately and unprofessionally, seeming to think we are at their beck and call and should be available at all times. Furthermore, they suggest methods I consider questionable, such as asking tenants to leave a key to enter their apartments, accompanied by complete strangers, when the tenants are not home.

Homequest is the best!
My experience with Homequest has been absolutely brillant! I was coming from another country, and they helped me find a great apartment in Lausanne in less than 2 months. After defining the scope of my search, they sent me in average 1-2 apartments per day to look at / visit, and as I was abroad they did a lot of the visits themselves, always providing me with a great summary of the visit, including comments, many pictures and a video, which was extremely helpful. I literally had nothing to do. Their personnel is competent and very reactive, their way of working is clear, transparent and well explained. They have a fantastic knowledge of the city obviously, and a great network with agencies which can be a crucial factor in obtaining a flat considering how hard it is in Lausanne. The director of the agency is a great guy, extremely knowledgeable and friendly! 100% recommended!
Very good apartement hunters (chasseurs d'appartement). Very professional with clear criteria and feedback for each apartment found. Gave helpful advice to improve the chance of being chosen once you decide upon an apartment. In our case a perfect apartment was found in just 2 weeks but obviously it could take much longer. Much easier than online searching every day if you work full time. Only caveat: you need to have saved 1.5 months rent for their fee (only paid after new apartment is found and contract with the letting agency is signed) in addition to the payment in advance to the letting agency / régie (plus the bank deposit /caution bancaire). However this is similiar to other chasseurs d'appartement.
