Working with Elka Baukollektiv was the best decision: Joey Meier gave us excellent advice, addressed all our many requests, suggested high-quality materials, and was very patient with us. From planning and material selection to implementation, corrections, and final inspection – the communication was flawless, and there was always a positive word or a smile! Five stars and all well-deserved!!! We refurbished two apartments in the last two years so we got quite some practice in working with contractors. Based on our experiences, we can definitely say that Koray is on another level! Besides being extremely nice at a personal level, Koray has been present at every step of the process (from the high-level planning to the refinements at the end of the work). At any point, he was always able to offer a clear overview of what was going to come (and at which cost), and never failed to deliver. From our perspective, he had an excellent control of all the moving parts in the project and proactively worked to centralise communications, invoices and coordination with the working teams, so that everything was planned and delivered efficiently. As a result, the hassle and the stress for us has been minimised (and we have been very grateful for that). Even now that the project is concluded, Koray is still very reachable and keeps offering help for the little improvements that we decide to make. From now on, when we need to do serious work at home, Koray is definitely our go-to person!
