Tried to change the address of our company. Went there in person. According to the employee, that's not possible. They want you to apply for a change by email first. Then they plan to contact you and let you know what, when, how and in how many steps to proceed. The last address change with another Notariat was a no-brainer. Same city, same thing.

Public office that exceeds & matches service in Private sector, incredibly efficient. Anita Gnehm was very helpful and friendly.

Is is an example of a public office exceeding the service offered my private companies. Having previously been disappointed by Geneva Notaries which bill like lawyers I’ve tried to minimise by need. My experience in zurich has turned that around. Notaries are public and service is exceptional. Madame Eschbach accommodated me in English, helped produce documents in Spanish and even moved things around in the notaries calendar to accommodate my prior travel engagements. Water and seating is available and they reply promptly to phone calls and emails. What more can I ask for? Thank you to everyone at this office. All notaries should be public.
