H & B Real Estate AG

I'm not sure who the contact person is from this agency for the people giving more than 1 stars, but if I could go below 0, I would. Not only did it take 1+ month for them to call 2 references of a prospective tenant provided by us, but our contact person was almost never available by phone and have seen improvement in the process only when we were following up multiple times a day. So our last few weeks looked like: a couple calls in the morning to either receive no answer or being advised that our contact person is not available, then a couple of more calls with the same result, then sending an email so at least we can express what we wanted to talk about. Whenever they told us that they'll tell her to call us back, guess what happened? Surprise, surprise - SHE NEVER CALLED BACK :) How shockingly professional... Due to the lack of communication/work moral/whatever, we almost lost the tenant who wanted to take over the apartment and almost ended up double paying. The deposit return process was also a mess and took longer than it should have. During the handover our contact person only highlighted the limescale as an outstanding item, however when she sent the final document, another defect was also included as a "to be paid", which was already present when we moved in. Luckily we had a video and pictures about it from the time we moved in, so they didn't charge us. But again, communication... why didn't she mention it during the handover the same time she told us about the limescale... I am from Hungary so trust me I know how bad service looks like, but H&B Real Estate AG is a next level - at least based on my experience. Also, whenever we asked them to check on something around the house or with our neighbor above, feels like they never did what they promised - at least the situation was left unchanged. If I'd need to mention something positive, I'd say that anyone I have talked with was always polite, but this doesn't change the fact that it feels like they are doing a poor job.

One year: - Took them 6 weeks to fix our broken fridge - Set up an AirBnB in our house - Allowed a guy that broke into apartment with death treats to keep on living in the house => Very uncomfortable situation - worst landlord experience I’ve had in 10 years

I am still waiting for my Deposit amount since August 2025 and I don't see any response from the team even after reminders. Can anyone help me how to escalate this situation
