My experience with Livit AG was the worst I have had so far (I have lived and rented apartments in 5 different countries). I try to keep it short: - I gave the required 3-month notice as per contract, which meant allowing access to the apartment for interested applicants. In practice, I ended up managing all communication, scheduling, and viewings myself. - more than 50 applicants contacted me directly (I was overwhelmed by phone calls and messages every day at any time included Sundays and public holidays) - Livit did not attend a single viewing (their statement, copy pasted from the email: "Von der Livit AG wird leider kein Mitarbeiter bei der Besichtigung vor Ort sein."). -During this period I received from them some emails stating that I was unreachable, even though I was already organizing and conducting the visits myself while managing my own job, the move, and daily responsibilities (reminder: they were never available in 3 months to lead even one visit, despite it should be their job and area of expertise). -I also received an email expressing concern about the low number of applications (the audacity!) - At some point the apartment advertisement was removed and the apartment appeared to have been rented, but I was not informed. As a result, I conducted one additional viewing unnecessarily. - They cancelled the apartment handover on the same day, requiring me to take additional time off work to reschedule and accommodate their needs. - The deposit was returned after about 7 months and only after LAWYER INVOLVEMENT (they apologized for their delay to the lawyer, not to me) Draw your own conclusions. Edit: don't get fooled by their sterile apologies. After reading many other reviews, it’s hard to see this level of service as an exception — it seems to be exactly the standard they operate at. In my experience I was not treated as a customer but more like a source of income to exploit. If you run into issues with them, know your rights and don’t hesitate to immediately seek legal advice. You likely have far stronger protections than they would like you to believe. Document everything, challenge unfair treatment, and don’t let intimidation or incompetence discourage you!
I cannot even name all the issues that come along renting real estate managed by Livit from basic services not working, to unethical negotiations, to an incredibly rude customer service and staff Our buildings (which are in the premium segment in Ankenbüel Zumikon) are infested with insects, our parkings are too small and cars don't fit, the inner ventilation needs repairing but livit refuses to do it
Most greedy landlord in switzerland , slow to reply, slow to fix things, elevator one in a month constantly broken. they never reduce the rent cause of interest rate on their own, if you need something you need to wait 2 weeks for a reply, monopoly at its finest, i wish the worst to everyone there
Since months, heating is not working. Outside is now 7 degree and I weared like outside in the Livit rented Home🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️soon would like to start for my justice and let them to pay my costs(elektric bill, Hotel, transportation, health, compensation...etc). They thought that we are their slaves, they will understood by living the Results. I crossed my fingers and waiting the starting of the week. I gave till end of Wednesday LAST CHANCE. Good luck
I recommend you to avoid living anywhere this company offers you!!! They barely reply to emails, they ignore phone calls and they are the most uncollaborative company I have seen. My partner tried to find someone to leave her flat but they kept ignoring her and posted the adverts wrongly so that she kept paying until the last month. Can only UNRECOMMEND.
