Cheshire Bathrooms & Electrical

The brief was to fully refurbish a 1980s bathroom to a modern shower room, moving all suite items and connect to a traditional gravity plumbing system, using Showerbooster mini pumps to ensure a vigorous shower. I obtained three quotes and James was the only person to fully engage with the design and agree to supply all the goods, at a reasonable price. Being a busy tradesman, there was a slight wait for the work to start. James provided a very detailed quote and design visual so that nothing was left ambiguous, including a shopping basket at Victorian Plumbing for us to view. The job started at the agreed timeframe and everything was managed by James to perfection! This included delivery, storage and checking of all supplied items and skip for the disposal. The work was completed to a very high standard and finished on schedule. James and Lewis kept the house clean and tidy during the works and even completed a few minor jobs that were not part of the contract. They were also friendly and chatty, which made having them around a much easier experience. The finished bathroom looks like the en-suite at a luxury hotel and we are delighted with the result. We intend to work with James again for some electrical work and eventually our other bathroom.

We was really pleased with the bathroom fitted by James & Lewis. James was very helpful with choosing some items & recommending a better option if needed, especially the bath for which he found a smaller bath for the space that we had, but doesn't look or feel as small as expected-very pleased with this. We was happy to leave James & Lewis to complete the bathroom while we we're away. James and the team have done an unbelievable job with our bathroom renovation. From the initial detailed quote where James had anticipated various issues (meaning we didn’t get any surprise additional costs) to final installed bathroom, James was very professional, communicative and helpful. The CAD pictures James put together prior to starting the work really helped visualise the end product and led to some minor tweaks that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to make to the detriment of the end result. Throughout the job, James and the team were very thorough with tidying up at the end of the day which was greatly appreciated. James was also very receptive to our ideas and requests for individual items even though this meant him sourcing items from a variety of suppliers which he had no problems with. The end bathroom has been done to a very high standard and the quality of the workmanship is excellent. We can’t recommend James highly enough and hope to get him back soon for the next job!
